Roland have arguably been making the best electronic drum sets for many years now. The HD1, the latest addition to the Roland range, truly is the first of its kind. Dubbed the V-Drum Lite, this kit has been specifically designed to be simple, compact and stylish whilst still maintaining the high quality performance of the rest of the V-Drum range. Specially designed cushioned tom pads and kick pedal radically reduce noise making this kit ideal for home use. Its also incredibly easy to use, making it perfect for schools and teaching. The HD-1 features 10 drum kit variations, a variable speed metronome, headphone socket and auxiliary input, allowing you to plug in your iPod and jam to your favourite tunes.
Truly a first on an electronic kit in this price range, the HD-1 features a mesh head on the snare drum. This allows for a much more realistic feel than standard rubber pads, great for practising rolls and other snare techniques. This mesh head is replaceable and can be tuned, allowing the user to adjust the head tension to their liking without affecting the sound.
The HD-1 is by far the simplest electronic kit on the market to set up. Within 10 minutes of unpacking youll be set up and bashing away!
